Initially, the sisters faced the dilemma of designing a single large dwelling that would inevitably spark disputes over access to scenic views and beach space. To foster harmony, they opted for a design that segments the home into three independent, identical terraces; each equipped with its own entry and amenities allowing for shared family gatherings while respecting individual privacy. This thoughtful layout embraces the essence of multigenerational living.
Artistry in Functionality
On approach, the restrained exterior, adorned with blue and white timber battens, draws the eye without overwhelming the natural beauty surrounding it. The facade features three unique pop-up windows, each signifying the sisters' personal space within the design. Inside, functionality reigns as the layout facilitates seamless transition from private to communal spaces, providing flexibility for young children or guests. The integrated courtyard, cradled by the dwelling, allows for natural ventilation and sound insulation from the lively atmospheres of each adjoining terrace.
